Few days ago, I received an email from Medium Writer Support with the subject: We’re testing Tipping on Medium.
Tipping on Medium is a welcome addition to earning on the platform — in addition to the Medium Partner Programme and Referred Members. While the partner programme earnings is like the salary and the referred member earnings is like the allowance; tipping on Medium is like the bonus.
The tipping button is found after each and every story.
Although there are other ways of inserting tipping links such as in your short bio or at the end of your stories; this tipping feature button is a welcome and much-awaited feature.
